MIP13: Through Adversity to the Stars
"Are you in the Lord's Army?"
"YES, SIR!"
I always made sure to shout the loudest. SMH.
MIP12: el-Dorado - Found Where The Sky Grows Wider
"We bonded over literature and your writing - basically, I'm one of your biggest fan (but in a totally non-creepy way). I hope this book inspires you to write more often because, let's be real, the world needs more of your words... and I need more to read!"
MIP11: The Wisps of Soot
I’ve learned that more often than not, responsibility reveals capacity. Whilst it may be very inconveniencing, crippling and even burdensome, it is usually an unceremonious announcer of weight, stature and maturity.
MIP10: The Only True Way is Through
First off, apologies to those I’ve offended by the singular reason of choosing this title. Those that have some bit of struggle articulating the ‘th’ sound, worse if you have ‘rhotacism’ - the inability to pronounce ‘r’.
MIP9: Iconic in the Field, Like Solomon's Seal
I saw this line off a friend’s IG page a long time back and I instantly loved it. I didn't know what to do with it, but it struck me in a very interesting way.
MIP8B: Ad Infinitum
The final day right before we started, we drove to some quiet place and sat in silence for the entire evening. In no time, I could hear her sobbing and sniffing, needless to say it was the most distressing situation I’ve been in in forever. The sadder part was my helplessness - I hate to think about it.
MIP8: Man Has Progressed
The final day right before we started, we drove to some quiet place and sat in silence for the entire evening. In no time, I could hear her sobbing and sniffing, needless to say it was the most distressing situation I’ve been in in forever. The sadder part was my helplessness - I hate to think about it.
MIP7: El-Dorado
“What’s that one most important decision you made in the last 5 – 10 years that’s most shaped the way your life is right now?”
MIP6: Man of the Year
I think where I’ve been taught the hardest of lessons this past one year has been on Cupid’s forte. After what seemed like a protracted misadventure, it is easy to turn off all receptors and kick in the heels in defeat - I tried to, but somehow I’m simply not cut from that defeatist fabric.
